Visibility/Location: Girl was standing on one corner, but she was facing away from the way we came. Once you turn it's right there so it wasn't bad but maybe a bigger sign or something would have been more helpful because we did almost past it.

Wait Entertainment: We didn't have to wait in line, but there also wasn't any monster even waiting there. So there was none

Length of Event: 3-5 minutes at most

Actor Performance: Poor. They barely did anything except yell to move to the next room. Most of them just talked in their normal voice. Nothing scary.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: No one else was there so we didn't run into anyone else.

Appropriate Ages: 5 and up. Maybe even younger. It honestly was not scary at all to me.

Props / Special FX: Poor. The props were pretty cheap looking. Nothing special that I remember. Just your basic halloween decorations you can buy anywhere

Costumes / Make-up: Very Poor. They looked like they were bought from the dollar store. They obviously did not have a professional make up artist to help them. Looked like the scaary make up my mom used to do for me when I was little.

Summary: The haunted house was not scary in my opinion. It was too open. Every room was exactly the same. Basically something on each side of a big room, and 1-2 scary guys. Who did not scare you.
Thankfully we were part of the first 200 people so we only have to pay $10. On the website it says $24/$20 with coupon. If I would have paid that I would have been extremely upset. They should only charge $10 if that for this haunt. I have no problem paying a lot of money for something that is worth it and lasts longer that 3 minutes. Satan's Portal really needs to step it up. Sorry guys.

Visibility/Location: Was kind of weird to get to. The site said follow the signs. The only signs I saw said "No Parking" But once I turned on the street I saw the police car so I assumed it was over there and it was. It is in desolate kind of area which made it a bit more creepy so I wouldn't complain about the location.

Wait Entertainment: They had a lot of guys walking around, but I think that was a little bit of overkill. Maybe if there is a lot more people in line it would be okay, but they basically just hung all over us since there wasn't that many people in line. The guy burping in your face it completely disgusting. He did it 3 times to me over the 20 minutes. That i found to be just gross.

Length of Event: 40 Minutes. Waiting in line for like 20 minutes but it was the first day it opened. I have been to the previous one in Grayslake and have waited for over 2 hours.

Actor Performance: I thought they did a great job. Some were better then others. But I did get off guard and scream a bit. Some were annoying and just tried to hard, but for the most part they did their part scared you and went back.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Ran into one group on front of us because the girl was so scared she would barely move. Then the only other time we ran into anyone was in the maze. Which was fine because I know that's how they spread people out. Once we got through it we didn't run into anyone again except where you are suppose to at the designated spots where they spread you out again.

Appropriate Ages: 13 and up, maybe older. Really depends on how scared you get at haunted houses.

Props / Special FX: I really did enjoy this haunted house. They had a lot of cool things. I like the room that moved. And the door when you enter Mercy General Hospital, with the girl in the window... that was pretty cool. They had some other cool things too but don't want to give to much away.

Costumes / Make-up: Very cool costumes and make up for the most part. They took the time to come up with costumes, think them through and deliver on the make up to go along with it. Keep it up!!

Summary: I really enjoyed myself here. It was long and had many different things to offer. The elevator, burried alive, the guy who blow ups and you get splattered. I Drove an hour to get here and t was worth it. 4 of us went and we all really enjoyed. Even my boyfriend who thinks haunted houses are lame and extremely dumb. He kept saying how much he liked it.

Visibility/Location: It's at Odyssey Fun World... So pretty easy to find.

Wait Entertainment: Nothing til you are the first people in line.

Length of Event: 20 Minutes

Actor Performance: Pretty good. I enjoyed myself. I jumped a couple of time. Nothing too scary though.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Didn't run into anyone infront of us and no one behind us ran into us.

Appropriate Ages: 10 and up

Props / Special FX: I thought they did a good job. I don't understand the dinosaur in the middle of it...? Kind of out of place. We just laughed and were like what the heck? Wasn't expecting it so that was good, just once we seen it we just laughed. I like the effects though. Train was cool.

Costumes / Make-up: Pretty good. Nothing to complain about.

Summary: Overall I did enjoy this haunted house. The beginning in the laser tag part is a little too open for anything to scare you. I could see everyone where they were at. Maybe at least make it darker somehow? Other than that I don't have any major complaints. I jumped a few times. It was entertaining. I think $20 might be a bit to expensive. Maybe make it $15? or $15 with the coupon? Over all not bad. They do give you a few tokens for games which is nice. Not bad :]
