|Scare Factor: High | Atmosphere: Very Good|
Visibility/Location: We have gone several years in row now, however I don't think it would be hard for someone new to find. There is a sign posted on the main road (rt 47) and another showing the turn. After that you can't miss it since Mazon is such a small town.
Wait Entertainment: I enjoy the outside entertainment every year. There are several characters outside roaming around. My favorite is always the clown. I swear it has to be the same person year after year because he is always chasing people down the road, around the block, to their cars ect. He not only scares people outside butchases them through. They all do a good job. They also have a small consession outside for while you are waiting.
Length of Event: Not really sure how long it took, maybe 15 mins? Could be off on that though.
Actor Performance: All of the actors seem to really take their roles serioiusly. I did not notice anyone scting out of character at all.
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Flow seemed good, we never ran into any other groups.
Appropriate Ages: Depends on the person or child but I would say not for under 10.
Props / Special FX: I was happy to see that this year they really changed everything. Some years in the past have been similar to the previoius years but the props and specials effects were all new this year. I really enjoyed the new ideas they came up with.
Costumes / Make-up: I think they did well in this area also. the costumes fit the rooms the people were in and they looked well done.
Summary: This year in Mazon really impressed me. They came up with all new rooms and ideas that I have not seen in the past. With out giving too much away, I enjoyed a new prop this year that smashed the persons head. I think it is well worth the money, at only $8 each. We have been to others that cost 5x that much and offered less entertainment. I would highly recommend this haunt. The only thing that I think they may want to consider changing in the future is how narrow the hall ways are. I wouldn't say that I am a very big person and it a few spots I had to turn sideways to get through. I understand the "creepy" factor that the confined space adds, however I think that it would make it very difficult for someone who may be a little bigger to get through.
