Scare Factor: Medium | Atmosphere: Very Good |

Visibility/Location: Didn't see any signs leading into it (i could have missed them...), but I had been there before so I knew where it was. Wait Entertainment: they have various monsters that are out walking around and concessions. the wait didn't seem all that long, but we were having fun with some of the ghouls walking around. Length of Event: i would guess it was approx 15-20 mins once we got started. Actor Performance: the actors were good, they were ready when we came in and did a very nice job of scaring the group i was in. Patron Flow Inside Attraction: the only time we even saw the group ahead of us was in the very first room where you hear the story. other than that the flow was excellent! Appropriate Ages: this haunt is safe for any age. they have this light that you can take if you have a young child and the actors wont be too aggressive or scary with them then, so i'd say it's safe for all! Props / Special FX: every year i go see boo crew and every year i am amazed at the decor/props/special fx. this haunt does an amazing job setting a creepy atmosphere with great details and nice rooms. very well done Costumes / Make-up: this is another area that boo crew excels. they are probably 50/50. some actors wear masks and others have makeup and/or prosthetic pieces. they all look great. the only thing i heard from my group was that they mentioned some of the people looked very similar so i'm not sure if the same person just came to another room of if it was different people with same face. Summary: overall boocrew is well worth the drive out to rochester. the price is reasonable for the scare you receive! i never like to give away any scares to those who read the reviews before going, but be warned that in this haunt you will have to bend and possibly crawl at some point, so if you have physical limitations might want to consider that. otherwise, if you go out i hope you enjoy your trip thru as much as we did! |
