|Scare Factor: Low | Atmosphere: Good|
Visibility/Location: I missed it the first time because I wasn't paying attention. It's right behind the bingo hall at the fairgrounds. There is a banner on the side of the road and a few small arrows up on the fence. It's pretty easy to find, but a couple signs on 121/pershing and mound wouldn't hurt.
Wait Entertainment: No wait entertainment, but we were the only ones there and it was opening weekend on a sunday night.
Length of Event: From getting on the trailer til we got off 30 minutes, pretty awesome.
Actor Performance: Actors on the trail got out of character a few times and some even hitched a ride, but like I said it was opening weekend and it was slow. The actors in both buildings were very good though.
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: We passed the 2nd trailer when we were starting off and they were ending, so it was pretty good.
Appropriate Ages: I'd say 10 and up
Props / Special FX: Not a lot of props on the trail, but some decent ones in the buildings.
Costumes / Make-up: Mostly masks and general make-up.
Summary: I was pretty pleased overall with this attraction. The best part is that I timed it right at 30 minutes which was very nice. If there was a bigger crowd I could see that being a problem though. My biggest complaint is that the music/background story was too loud and drowned out the actors jumping out to scare you on the trail.
There is also a point where u get out and go through a mini haunted house. A worker helps u get off and back on the trailer which is nice. They also drive through a building with some nice props. The part with the clowns was my personal favorite and was the only time I jumped.
I've been all around central IL haunted attractions so I like to think I know a good one when I see it. This one isn't super scary, but it is definitely fun and worth the price.
