Visibility/Location: The Dungeon has a great location nearby the Tractor Supply in Pekin, Illinois with lots of room for parking.

Wait Entertainment: The radio station 105.7 was there that night which got the crowd excited about the event. There was music and lots going on that night, while people went through the haunted attraction. It made going into the Dungeon of Darkness even more exciting. The front display to the haunted attraction was very well done, with creepy

Length of Event: The haunted attraction didn't take long to go through, maybe 15 minutes or longer.

Actor Performance: The actors throughout the haunt were believably scary and did a great job making groups that went through afraid. The butcher shop actor is fantastic and the room was an interesting twist. The rave room was awesome with all the blood and the scares of those involved. They really made you feel a part of the action. The VIP room was interesting and scary being thrown right into a moment where a woman is bitten. All the areas of the haunt were well done and believable to scare those who went through. The major players in the haunt, as those throughout with well done makeup, really catch you off guard and sell the Dungeon of Darkness. I loved the zombie house actors as well as well as all the actors throughout the haunt.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: The flow of the haunt was decent and our group was able to get through without any trouble.

Appropriate Ages: This haunted attraction is appropriate for teenagers on up, however, children as accompanied by an adult are welcome to be involved. It is a great haunt for all ages.

Props / Special FX: The areas of each room were dramatically well done and conveyed the different themes throughout the Dungeon of Darkness. Any props used were appropriate for the haunted attraction and helped in the scares. Music was also used effectively during times throughout the areas of the haunt.

Costumes / Make-up: The costumes were fantastic and well done throughout the haunt. The major players that roam throughout the haunt had intricate costumes, makeup, and wigs. I thought they looked great. I loved all the makeup that was used because it made the characters involved come to life, as did the costumes. All the makeup was very well done with attention to detail of what each character was.

Summary: The Dungeon of Darkness covers a variety of themes, going from one theme to the next, in attempts to scare any age or background. The haunted attraction's actors and intricate rooms do a wonderful job to keep people afraid. The actors follow you around from time to time to keep you scared and each area makes you feel like you are in another different world from what you are used to, going from one room to the next in attempt to make you terrified. I really had a great time roaming from room to room to see what would happen. And each actor does what they set out to do, to startle or scare you. I would recommend this haunt to anyone this Halloween who wants to be entertained, scared, and have a fun time throughout.

Visibility/Location: Located in the old Steve & Barrys sports shop, so we have a large building here, next to Super WalMart so you can't miss it. No street markings here, so you have to know its here.

Wait Entertainment: Some clowns walking throughout the attraction.

Length of Event: We took around 5 minutes in line, not too many here tonight. The event took about 10 minutes to complete .

Actor Performance: All the characters stayed on the mark here, no body broke character in out view.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Everything moved along well and the event was very well designed.

Appropriate Ages: I would think that the standard 8 year could handle this attraction without much fear.

Props / Special FX: Lots of good standard props here, no automation however some could be used here and is needed badly. The special effects were only in strobe lights and fog machines.

Costumes / Make-up: The costumes and make up was very well done.

Summary: We attend this event every year and have noticed improvement every year, but this year it just seemed to weak here. I would like to see more changes next year, the building has more to offer than what they are using. The event holds together good, the true blood twist might be interesting, but falls short of real fear factor. The ending this year was weak with the tunnel (good tunnel) but nothing - nobody this year blocking the exit or creating fear in the tunnel exit. This attraction is a nice touch for a haunted house, but much more work needs to be done.
