Visibility/Location: Large sign out front of St.Matthew's church

Wait Entertainment: Can get a number and not have to wait in line (big plus). Refreshments available for purchase

Length of Event: 40 minutes or so to get thru the house

Actor Performance: Good actors - this is a charity house (not a professional house) so it is not as expensive but some of the actors are younger. However, they were still scary!

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Very good - actors seem to direct flow of people so they don't get all bunched up.

Appropriate Ages: Definitely too scary for younger ones - would say 12 and up.

Props / Special FX: Nice effects - very scary dog at one point, large whirling barrel that is difficult to walk thru. Love that the house is interactive!

Costumes / Make-up: Good makeup - not your usual plain blood & gore. Some nice special effects.

Summary: This haunted house is FUN to go through! You get to actually interact with the scary characters and try to find your way out of places. I found myself laughing and screaming throughout. Good deal for the low price! Some nice effects that are not typical - very tight spaces lots of times so that in itself gets scary. Very dark (don't use your cellphone and ruin the surprises!) - lots of actors throughout. Nice that you can sit and have a snack instead of just waiting in line (you can also buy your tickets online in advance).

Visibility/Location: The house was located in a small suburb, but there were many professional looking signs in the area, and upon arrival, there was a large sign with a light on it on a truck trailer

Wait Entertainment: they had a great D.J. he was young, but obviously knew what he was doing, and was good with the audience. he was up for pictures, letting the audience mess with his equipment (with his supervision of course) and was really getting into the music. there were also actors going around scaring people, and a Frankenstein's Monster on stilts that was really cool

Length of Event: 25-30min, but could go on longer if you can't find your way out of some of the rooms

Actor Performance: they were ok. some rooms were better than others. the ones that were good really stood out and were definitely the strongest rooms. the others we just seemed to pass through and were forgotten, but not remembered as terrible or anything.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: it wasn't very busy when i got there, so we got in pretty quick, and didn't run into any groups inside the house.

Appropriate Ages: 12 and up. there were many scary parts that i wouldn't want anyone younger to see.

Props / Special FX: they had a cool wheel thing that made you feel like you were spinning and tilted, a room that looked like it had no floor and you were on a small bridge across the ravine, and many strobe and black lights

Costumes / Make-up: they had simple costumes made awesome by the great makeup. with some actors, i thought they were plastic dummys at first. others had masks on that i thought were real.

Summary: i really had a grand time in the house. There were a ton of actors popping out in the dark halls, and scaring me. some got right in my face, or followed me, and i kept expecting them to leave, and each time i looked back, they were still there. dedicated, i tell you! They had a wide variety of rooms that were all very cool. Some very diverse rooms that i have not seen in other houses. i had an excellent time finding my way out of rooms and navigating tight hallways. The entire house is like a maze. many houses just lead you from one room to the next, but st. matt's disguised each exit. There were even some trap doors that "warp" you back into a previous room. The house was very entertaining if not scary. i would highly recommend it, and props for being a for-prophet haunt not for-profit.
