Visibility/Location: Located off route 84 and well marked with lighted sign.. Nice remote surroundings, very good location.

Wait Entertainment: No real wait entertainment noticed here, but we weren't waiting long, group called ! We waited around fire until called out to enter the BUS.

Length of Event: Almost 40 minutes all together, get length !

Actor Performance: Actors all done a very good job, a few broke character only because some girls ahead of us called for their pictures, NO CAMERA'S SHOULD BE POSTED HERE - They kill everything going smoothly !

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Flow started good and hit bottom fast, these girls ahead of our group slowed and stopped the action cold ! A mess here and the characters even apologized for these massive delays and disruption !! Sad, because everything kept this event from a stand out is the crowd flow was bad to worst !!

Appropriate Ages: Maybe 9 or 10 because of the in your face stuff and remote wood surroundings .

Props / Special FX: Some standard, so home made and some high end all put together and done very well. Some automation monsters - nice touch with the full sized room monster, very nice work here !

Costumes / Make-up: Not a lot of make up here, but good masks and costumes seemed to work good. Maybe a little more detail needed but it is a remote location and dark so you might not really see the detail if it was there ??

Summary: This haunted house is one of the better ones in the state, lots of great length and overall well assembled and put together with buildings all grouped together and move flow from event to event. The rooms were from good to better and everything went off as planed but the flow slowed it up - NO CAMERA'S ! The BUS was the best experience I have had this year with a travel throughout a remote wooded area that no roller coaster could match - excellent and very well done. With our first year here we loved what we saw, the hillbilly remote walk through was nice, but maybe weak of actors. The buildings were done great and everything was detailed well, people did the job well here - with NO CAMERA's this would be great ..

Visibility/Location: Anyone who knows where Cordova/the drag strip is should be able to get there with no problem. There are signs of Rt. 84 and there's a hearse somewhat back in the weeds.

Wait Entertainment: There isn't so much entertainment but, you do get a good sense of atmosphere being able to hear the screams/sounds coming from within the haunt. The wait area consists of a decent size bonfire, porta johns and a carnival style concession stand.

Length of Event: 45-50 minutes inside the haunt(s) we were on the grounds no more than an hour both wait time and attraction time.

Actor Performance: Actor performance was good, not great but not the worst I've ever seen. The majority of actors, like most haunts, appeared to be kids about Jr. High aged. The down side was when we walked into one building we came across two actors who were half in/half out of costume and eating/drinking carrying on a full conversation and didn't even make the effort to try to save the scare.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Patron flow was excellent! Our group never did catch up to another group nor did any other group catch up to us. This has probably been the best example of patron flow inside a haunt I've ever seen.

Appropriate Ages: All ages appropriate but as most haunts I would say 12 & up would be appropriate.

Props / Special FX: There were many props in the haunt, all of which were pertinent to the haunt or buildings theme. There were a few large props that appeared that the should have been animatronic but were not working or weren't triggering properly.

Costumes / Make-up: This was not the best category but they did ok. Most of the actors were just in all black with face paint. Some of the makeup was pertinent to their area and some was not.

Summary: Overall, I would say this is the best haunt in the Quad City Area. Everything from the school bus ride in through the woods, to the wooded trail, and the six or seven buildings was great. All buildings were FULLY decorated and there were some great scares. It is definitely worth the fifteen dollar admission price. They did an excellent job of disguising doors so that you really had time to take in the scenes. And a word to the wise, be more prepared at the end then the actor is! This is a must see if you're in the QCA!
