Visibility/Location: The haunted barn was located off a side road, up a hill and into the woods. There was a big light up sign that pointed the direction off Rt. 31 so it was eaisy to find.

Wait Entertainment: I think once you turn off Rt. 31 the experience begins. They had roamers from the parking lot, up the hill and in the woods on each side of the path. The roamers attack the ticket line as well as the waiting line. While waitiing they had a clown that just chased kids around the barn and out of the house. The kid never stopped. They had many actors outside which was nice to see. They also had a second clown that was awesome. His mask was unbelivable. He carried around a gas chainsaw the was a crowd pleaser. He deffiantly was a great scare. He chased a group of girls out of line and what seemed like back down to the parking lot. I am not sure if they even came back. Great job in my eyes. They also had a concession both with a variety of snacks and beverages.

Length of Event: The attraction is in a large barn. They had about 10 rooms and some of the rooms had decent skits and others we just walked right through. I think the overall time we spent at this house was about an hour. Which isnt bad for $9.00.

Actor Performance: The actors were wonderful. I have been to a few houses this year and I have noticed a few that have a good mix of actors who are totally into it and some that get dressed up and stand in a corner. Here it seemed like most if not all actors where into their skits and high energy. Some of the skits in the house seemed realistic. They had like a serial killer birthday room that was highly decoritve and the killer was screaming at the girl to sing happy birthday, but she was saying no, so he picked her up off the floor and was shaking her and screaming at her...very interesting. Other rooms had more realistic actor on actor skits.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: The flow was good. We did not run into any other groups while in the barn.

Appropriate Ages: I would have to say 10 or older. I did see some parents with younger kids, but many of the actors, some of the acts, and many of the rooms are gore filled, which is a nice touch, but I suppose its at parents discretion.

Props / Special FX: They had a decent amount of props and fx. I have seen much more from other houses, but what I liked here is that each room had 3 or 4 actors. The maze was very interesting and fun. They had short walls and some strobe lights. The actors where poping out of what seemed like nowhere. It seemed like I saw 5 or 6 actors in here but with the strobes it could have been 1 or 2.

Costumes / Make-up: The costumes and make-up fit each of the rooms. Many of them look like they spent a good amount of time getting gored up and decorated.

Summary: Overall I had fun at this place. The location is good and actors where good. After the haunt I went to the concession both to get something to drink and I saw a board that had more Jaycee stuff on it and talked to one of the members. We talked a little about the organization and the house. Come to find out that all the actors are teens and young adults that all volunteer their time at this place. This barn has had their haunt for over 25 years now. Amazing. It was well ran and worth the $9. I have been to a few haunts this year so far and have paid up in the means of $20 for a haunt. Yes the props and fx at the larger places where more in quanity, but for this volunteer organization at $9 a ticket, it was a good show and will return next year. Good job Jaycees
