|Scare Factor: Medium | Atmosphere: Good|
Visibility/Location: Good. There was a enter here sign off the street.
Wait Entertainment: Some of the actors came in and out of the haunt to torment the line. The chainsaw clown came out of multiple locations. You never knew where he was at.
Length of Event: 5-10 minutes
Actor Performance: Most of the actors were pretty good. Some of the younger ones could have been better staying in there own spot and not following the group through.
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Never ran into anyone else.
Appropriate Ages: 10 and up.
Props / Special FX: Good use of lighting, sound, and smoke effects.
Costumes / Make-up: A lot of actors were in masks but several were in mak-up as well. A lot of the rooms were themed and the mak-up of the actors went with that room.
Summary: Overall, Hudson did a fine job. The haunt seemed bigger than years past. The price is great. $3.00 got me into the haunt and I got to roast a hotdog and S'More before I left. The Hudson Lion's Club Haunted House is made up of 100% volunteers and the money colleted all goes to charity. I think its a great way to spread a little halloween excitment though a small community.
Hudson never has the same set-up twice. Since they rent the building, the haunt gets set-up and torn down every year. That helps keep things new and unexpected.
Great Job Hudson!
