|Scare Factor: Very Low | Atmosphere: Poor|
Visibility/Location: Getting to the place was just complicating. Did not see signs or lights directing to the place.
Wait Entertainment: Waiting in line was just boring. No actors interacted with us. I remember a couple years ago they at least had a chainsaw guy outside, scaring people.
Length of Event: For a big upstairs I thought there would be more to it. Timed it, 15 minutes at a decent walk pace. I thought 15 more rooms would of taken us longer to go through.
Actor Performance: Actors were okay, not the best AT ALL. They tried to blend in with the room but their costumes were just obvious.
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: The flow was just HORRIBLE. Countless times we caught up to a group in front or the group behind us caught up. We would just stare at each other and wait as actors got back to their position. Spacing out is needed here.
Appropriate Ages: This haunted house specifically scared my 8 year old son rather than the rest of us.
Props / Special FX: Walking through rooms, there was one that smelled like someone took a crap and left it as a "scent" to the room. Disgusting. The props were cool to look at while waiting for the group in front of us to try to space from us. The twitching bodies were okay, but nothing amazing about them. The most annoying thing was the music throughout the haunt - loud and distorted (unless that's the way the setup is supposed to be). Difficult to hear the actors' lines with the FX flooding our ears.
Costumes / Make-up: Nothing that surprised us. Tacky, from the masks to the make-up. The 3D area is something to laugh at.
Summary: Overall, bad experience. All my friends and family are getting word from other people and agree this place needs improvement. Cannot really pinpoint what I liked about the haunt. My kid enjoyed taking pictures with a guy who dressed as clown that was waiting in line to buy a ticket. More interaction from the actors while waiting in the long line would be nice. My wife asked a worker from the haunt how long it would be until we got to buy our ticket, but he just snapped with attitude. Needs improvements all around to even be compared to other haunts.
