Visibility/Location: This is a local couple doing this as a family haunt, so you have to consider that this is for fun and not a commercial event . Located in the garage area of there home. Lighted trail of bags which trail down their driveway - nice touch !
Wait Entertainment: There was a Scooby Doo cartoon playing on a projection display and some haunted house props set up in the yard - very nice !
Length of Event: No real length here - maybe 2 minutes or less. I would say this is more of an event than an actual haunted attraction.
Actor Performance: The husband and wife gave a very good performance and we enjoyed it.
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: No flow here.
Appropriate Ages: I would say that this is more of an event for young kids maybe trick or treating the area, this is not an event for haunt seekers or older children.
Props / Special FX: A few standard props here. but nothing too much above that. They do a good job here with what they have .
Costumes / Make-up: Both the husband and wife done a good job here, there was a young boy in the event but I can't really comment on his costume. They looked like a young couple having fun putting this event on and that's is great!
Summary: This is a family haunt and not a commercial haunted house, but I give this a 8 rating because of the effort that they have put into this, it is very nice to see a couple put something like this together for the local kids and adults. This is designed in there garage area and they do a very good job with what they have here, both size and props used. As noted early, there is a large screen projection of cartoons for the young and lots of theme haunts throughout the yard to look at, very nice settings.
I hope that the young town kids enjoy this event and take part in it, people like this is what halloween and the holiday are all about.
