Visibility/Location: Being familiar with the area I had no problem finding this haunt. However, I did have to get directions to friends living in the area. The signage at the entrance gate is pretty noticeable.
Wait Entertainment: There was a couple young girls dressed as dolls that spooked waiting guess. They did a great job. A few other scaracters roaming around. Over all was nice.
Length of Event: I was pleasantly surprised at how long the haunt was. There were several time I would come around a corner thinking the end was near but it kept going. Very good duration, approximately 15 minutes.
Actor Performance: All The scaracters did a fantastic job. From standing motionless at the end of a long hallway waiting for the arrival of the guest, to throwing sparks near guests. A hidden swamp monster jumps out of the dark, and hiding scaracters in a mask room. They all did a wonderful job, collecting plenty of screams.
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: The do not allow more that 6 guests per group, which I think is an idea number. As said before it took us approximately 15 minutes to make it through the haunt.
Appropriate Ages: They recommend 12+ for this attraction. I think that's appropriate. Unless you have a die hard Halloween fan that's younger.
Props / Special FX: They do have several amazing animatronics. A rabid dog attempt to take your leg and a werewolf trys to feed on the passers-by. There is a fantastic soundtrack that they use in the swamp room. Lots of frogs and loons. It way the have the lighting set up adds to the mystery of what you're getting ready to walk into. There are a few rooms that seemed to be a bit lacking in props, but I attribute this to it being their first night open. Perhaps they'll add more.
Costumes / Make-up: All the costumes look great. Masks are scary and make-up is good. Even from up close the make-up looks well done.
Summary: $10 is a steal for a chance to go through this haunt. Lots of jumps screams. Well worth it. They have vender set up outside so you can grab yourself a hot dogs, polish, homemade chill, nachos, popcorn. There is a hearse in the parking lot adding just a touch of creepy. There is a small, non scary family hay ride that takes you around the fairgrounds for the little ones. All in all they have something for everyone. I wait with anticipation for following years to see what new additions the implement.
