Visibility/Location: Great location, very easy to find and plenty of parking

Wait Entertainment: Actors attempting to scare in the line were very entertaining. Once inside there was loud music and a fog machine. Hard to understand when your name is called.

Length of Event: Event length is short. Seems like once you enter the haunt, you are exiting very quickly.

Actor Performance: Actor performances were great, they had a good theme and stuck to it. Although a Michael Myers that talks is inaccurate.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Patron Flow was good. My group was there early so there were not as many customers yet.

Appropriate Ages: This haunt is appropriate for all ages.

Props / Special FX: The first long hallway was boring even though the actor tried to make it exciting with stories about pictures on the walls. The rooms were much better decorated.

Costumes / Make-up: Costumes and make-up stuck to a "hillbilly" theme. Very well done.

Summary: The deranged and depraved hillbilly theme is cool in the thought that I have not seen this theme used in haunts I have visited. Also, this theme would be better suited at a barn in the country, not a store front on State Street. As big as the store is, I expected more. The haunt is more focused on eerie and creepy hillbillies, nothing really scary. The old lady looking for her squirrel was funny.

Visibility/Location: From east state it is kind of hard to see cause of the hill and the restaurants in front. But over all not to hard to find if you already know where it was at.

Wait Entertainment: They had techno music playing and also had a black and white movie playing on a small screen TV. Then there was crusty the clown. Love watched him talk to the other people waiting and he did crack a couple jokes. he really didn't scare people too much. He did talk to me for a short period of time but could not keep up with the improved with. He might of lost interest.

Length of Event: 15 to 20 mims

Actor Performance: The main actors did do a good job as for interacting with patrons. Whis I could of heard them at times to hear what they were saying. The other actors were there did their job good as well.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Never ran into a group.. but did have actors rush us out of scenes quickly.

Appropriate Ages: Something like this I would say 10 and up.

Props / Special FX: The scenes were detailed but every thing else was just black. They did have some gimmicks when you walk through hallways thinking that something is touching you. The more elaborate special fix was the tunnel and the electrical room.

Costumes / Make-up: Most of the costumes were black for the extra actors. The main actors, their costumes were well put together and fit the character type well. As for make up. Very very simple, nothing too special or outstanding. It was very basic some thing that I have learned in the first lesson of special effects make up in college. But was done well.

Summary: Overall this was more of an entertaining haunt then actually scary. I did hve fun going through The best part was the waiting area. It made you feel you were in a higher production haunt. But I would lose the techno and use more bluegrass or backwoods music to pull your audience in. Being called by your name to go in was a nice touch. But repeating that we might not scare anyone maybe just entertain you by the second security guard kind of lowed the expectations of the haunt. I was more entertained then any. the main scenes we're good but the transitions between each one was missing the tie ins and the actors did not scare too much. So if you are looking for a entertaining haunt and not to heavy on the scares... I would suggest this one.
