Visibility/Location: Poor lighting. You really need to follow your GPS and look for signs which say the name of the haunt or Escape Room. I went on a media night so there wasn't much in the way of lighting except for the bright spot lights in the sky.

Wait Entertainment: Some actors walking around; generally they were very active and wanted to be part of pictures. I would have liked to have seen scary movies playing.

Length of Event: First Part: 12 minutes; Second Part: 10 minutes

Actor Performance: Very good. The characters were definitely in sequence and knew their jobs well. They were very active and intense.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Perfect. It was about as good as you can make it. Trips left every 4-5 minutes and we never even heard the groups in back or front of us. I was very impressed by this.

Appropriate Ages: 13+

Props / Special FX: Great. The CTA train could have been better. Great lighting and very intense strobes in the mazes with smoke.

Costumes / Make-up: Awesome

Summary: They said the first house would take 20-25 minutes if you walked at an easy pace. I generally walk very slowly to really analyze and enjoy each room and acting. Even so, the first house took a max of 12 minutes and the next house took about 10 minutes. The house is very detailed and the scare factor is pretty high, especially in the rooms where the chainsaw's were used. The use of strobes and smoke was great in that actors knew the timing of the when the lights would suddenly turn on. After the CTA train, there wasn't a lot of action. The only thing I didn't like was that there were long portions in between scares. Some of the actors could have done a better job with their timing, but then again it was one of the first nights.
