Visibility/Location: The location had a little sign on the side of the highway that pointed to where the haunt was which was in a back parking lot.

Wait Entertainment: There were two actors outside of the haunt that were interacting with guests coming in, but once we got into the building and bought our tickets there was no wait entertainment. This could also be because there were very few people there at this time and we did not have to wait in any lines.

Length of Event: About 15 minutes to get through everything (this included the beginning showroom with the video explaining the rules of the house).

Actor Performance: Overall I felt that most of the actors did a really good job of implementing scares and staying in character. It was an interactive haunted house so the actors had to go above and beyond just popping out at people and I felt that most of them did a good job with this.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: We never ran into another group, but we were stopped a few times before entering other rooms so the guests in front of us made it through. This was mostly because it was an interactive haunt so it took longer to get through rooms.

Appropriate Ages: 13 and up (there is some swearing and inappropriate behaviors that may not be suitable for younger children).

Props / Special FX: This was there strongest feature because they did a really good job of creating extremely realistic rooms and sets that were awesome to just look at all the detail that went into each of them. The best part was how they used different scents in each room to go along with the theme. Some of the smells were so disgusting, but it added an extra feature to the haunted house that made it more creepy.

Costumes / Make-up: Most of the actors were in costume and had really detailed make-up and masks on that were really believable and just downright creepy.

Summary: Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this haunt. My fiancee and I were on driving back from Chicago and had a 5 hour drive ahead of us and Rockford was our halfway point, so we came across this haunt and decided to check it out and we had such a great time at it. The prices were very reasonable for what you got, the acting was great, the set designs were fantastic and it was just an all around pleasing haunt. I would not say it was the scariest haunt I have been to, but I definitely enjoyed my time there and I would highly recommend if you are in the area to check it out, because they did not disappoint whatsoever!

Visibility/Location: Both were not that difficult. The haunt is in a decent location and has good amount of parking available.

Wait Entertainment: The couple of actors they had were not that bad but their approach was not really for me. They didnt do a bad job though.

Length of Event: It probably took about half hour or so to get through it all.

Actor Performance: The actors didnt not do bad at all. They are a little intense though. I worked in a haunt about 15yrs ago and honestly this was my first haunt ive been through really since i worked in one. Im not sure just how many changes have been made throughout all these years but for me i felt the actors got a little bit too close for comfort and safety honestly. In the barber section the actors got so close while doing his part. Just throughout the whole haunt i was more uuncomfortable with the intensity of the actors and just how close they got to the line of no contact that it was very difficult to enjoy myself. The performances they had werent bad but for me i would of prefered a little more personal space then they allowed me to have.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Like i stated above, they were not busy at all so we got right in. Now again for me i enjoy walking through a haunt at my pace. If a scene is amusing possibly stopping and watching for a moment keeping in mind there are other groups behind me. Unfortunately while going through each area of the haunt we were actually stop and had to watch the whole skit until allowed to proceed to the next part. I felt uncomfortable with that because it almost felt forced upon me and not having the ability to leave an area and move to the next especially when im probably not the best person to go to haunts with due to working in one before it has made it very difficult to scare me. I felt more irritate with that process and made it very for me to enjoy myself. The intensity is a bit much and for me i was more uncomfortable and annoyed at how close to the no contact line they got that it took away from me being able to enjoy any of it. They did have a few good scenes but i really was unable to put my guard down enough to enjoy them because throughout i didnt really feel like they werent going to touch me and my comfort and safety zone was 100% up. I personally do not enjoy that much intensity while going through haunts.

Appropriate Ages: My answer to this is kind of mixed. Due to the types of haunts i enjoy i feel they are a bit too intense for the younger customers and if i had children ages under like 16 i probably would not bring them to this haunt but someone else could find it fine for a younger range. For me though i say honestly 18 yrs and up. For me i dont feel the level of safety between actor and civilian is appropriate for a younger crowd. Also the language to me was a bit too colorful then i would of liked and if i did have younger kids i wouldnt have appreciated them around that much profanity. I little is fine but i was a little taken back by the amount.

Props / Special FX: The haunts overall appearance, effects, realisticness, design was not bad at all. I have worked as a scenic designer and i was very impressed with alot of the decor and could see the work and effort the was put into alot of the haunt. It was a little difficult for me though to enjoy the good creativity put into it all due to the strong intensity of the performances. I was unable to put that defense down because i was not able to feel that my safety was #1 priority.

Costumes / Make-up: The costumes, make up, characters were very well. They were convincing enough in a good amount of the haunt. The

Summary: This haunt in my opinion has alot of potential to be a really affective haunt. I was unable though to really enjoy myself with the strong amount of intensity they have there. I feel if they turned it down a few notches i would give them another try but as is now i wouldnt b able to refer this haunt to my loved ones. Some may enjoy that intensity and they would really enjoy this haunt. I felt very uncomfortable and really was not able to enjoy myself due to the vast difference of this haunt compared to what i usually enjoy experiencing when i would go out to haunts. So has potential but not quite there for me without some changes and alterations. Mostly directed to the language and personal space areas. I feel safety and comfort to an extent are very important for any haunt in order to really enjoy urself and have a good time and experience.
