Visibility/Location: Overall, I'm very happy that I had a GPS with me. It also helped that I was following some friends that had been there in previous years.
Wait Entertainment: Truthfully, the wait entertainment consisted of meeting the owner of the haunt, hearing some off the wall jokes and learning some mannerisms of the “Gate Keeper”
Admission Price: $15

Scare Factor: Very Low – great for the whole family
Crowd Control: Flow of customers – very smooth. We were the only group in the haunt at the time – Weeknight trip recommended. There were not a lot of patrons at the time.

Overall, Raven's Grin is definitely an experience that the whole family can enjoy. Being there fairly early in the Halloween season (they are open year round) there was not much of a wait to be seen. The parking lot was wide open and once you pull into the parking lot you can see the sign for Raven's Grin. Walking into the haunt you come to a very quick realization that nothing is as it seems. After a quick run down of the rules, and an introduction of the house, you're off. Personally I didn't know that it was possible to fit that many twists and turns into a house. This haunt was definitely more whimsical than scary, but there were a few points where the Tour Guide would disappear and then reappear out of no where. Or something would pop out from behind a curtain. Inside this house there is everything from a clothespin army, to a radioactive hamster. Just remember, in a place where nothing is as it seems or what you feel it should be, you are in for a definite adventure. I would highly recommend closed toed shoes and no flip flops, there are stairs involved and losing a shoe would be unfortunate as this is an indoor and outdoor haunt. What was really great about this is that the owner of the haunt is the one who does the tour, he is also very quick to explain that he tailors the entire show to the group he is walking through. For a haunt that has been open for 27 years you can definitely tell the pride and joy that the owner takes in his haunt.
