Wait Entertainment: When you buy you tickets you are put into numbered groups. There is no line to stand in. You will wait for your number to be called and then report to the front door of the attraction.

While you wait, you can enjoy refreshments, shop, play trivia on one of the screens, and/or watch Syfy channel playing on another large screen TV.

There are plenty of actors walking around and working and scaring the groups of patrons.

Scare Factor: Medium
Crowd Control: Crowd control is an issue that they should address immediately. While standing in our group waiting for our number to be called, we watched the group enter and exit the house. Groups were being let in of 4-6; but some of them groups exiting the haunted house contained double that size. The largest group, I saw exit was 13 people.

I could hear the rules being explained to the groups entering and there was a statement about seeing other groups within the house. They stated if you see another group, stop and wait, and then continue on.

Even our group grew inside the house with gaining 2 more people after walking down the stairs into the basement. One person was someone I recognized from working the crowd outside. The 2 continued to talk and mention people names that were working in each room. The workers called out the 2 people's names when we were coming into the rooms.

I knew some of the rooms that were coming up since they were talking about them. I would say with 3 rooms left, they asked me if it was ok if they joined our group.

Once entering the house you were met with the clowns. Scares came from different directions. One after another the clowns just seem to be on you. The one clown that stood out, was one that looked at the group leader and said, "You smell different when you are awake!"

You walked through air bags and then headed down to the basement. An automatic door locked you in the basement as you headed down the stairs.

One area that really stood out was a room with a picture drop down. After the initial scare came, a girl dressed in what I would call Demon Alice, came out of the wall. Her make-up and acting was spot on.

An interesting room was the children's pizza place room. You walked in and immediately saw a large stuffed bear. Like one that you would see at up on a stage, except something was very wrong with it. The scare in this room worked very well since you are focusing on the bear and pizza box.

Don't like bats? One room had many large bats resting in the ceiling, with 2 large demons waiting for patrons to come into the room.

Then it was entering the asylum. Wood slatted halls let the insane reach out and try to stop you from continuing on. Saying don't go, he will get you.

The last area, you came upon a room that seemed to have sheets hanging on the line drying. A man with a chainsaw, came right towards you.

They use a good mix of make-up and masks. The make-up is done very well and masks are some unique ones and some that are your run of the mill masks.

In some rooms, especially in the basement areas, we came into rooms that had actors in them; but the actors just stood there. We were unsure, if they were resetting or if they were just supposed to stand in the room and not do anything- like a living prop. It did seem confusing.

Clinton's picture drop down scares work really well. The actors working the pictures and crypt drop downs are on their mark. Every one of them seems to get at least one person in our group.

Clinton's Terror on Washington Street has a very unique building in which they utilize 2 floors. The first floor and the basement of the building. There are not too many haunted houses with this set up left.

If you are in the Clinton area, stop by and give them a visit. There is plenty to do there and $10.00 is great deal for night out.
