Visibility/Location: Google Maps were accurate in the directions to the Sinister House. It's out in the country next to a creepy cemetery. There was a big sign lit with green lights out front. On-site parking.
Wait Entertainment: They had some clowns wondering around creeping people out while you wait. The guy that took the tickets had a cool clown prop around his body that made it look like he was holding a clown like a toddler and he was able to make it move to look all over, very cool!

The Sinister House was probably one of the best haunts I attended this season. It is way out in the middle of nowhere, so even the drive is a little creepy. They had plenty of scary characters screaming in your face and stalking close behind you. All of the characters were very interactive and had some very creative costumes. The head clown, Mister Sinister seemed like his costume was made for him, he lived up to his name well and chased us around his funhouse with a loud train horn and lights flashing in our faces. They had lots of things hanging from the ceilings to walk into and throw you off, making you not see the dark cloaked woman sitting in the chair or the growling crazed killer hiding in the corner. Beware of the fella in the overalls wanting to play a game with a chainsaw!

The best part was actually after we were out of the haunt and in our car ready to leave. My teenage niece is terrified of clowns and they smelled her fear. They actually got in the car in the backseat with her! They had her terrified! It was great! They surrounded the car trying to get her to come out and play, while she screamed for us to lock the doors and drive! This is definitely the place to bring those friends that have a fear of clowns, they will have nightmares for weeks! We will definitely be back next year!
