Venue is located in the old Sears building of Hickory Point Mall, with a large gravel parking lot providing an abundance of parking right at event entrance. Being familiar with the area, the event was easy to find. Once we arrived at Hickory Point Mall, signage directs you around to back of mall, where entrance of venue is located (cannot access from within). Large white "Scream" banner at entrance, and a hurst with flashing lights parked just outside.

Entertainment: |
In the parking lot outside of event, scary clowns entertain the crowd, teasing and chasing patrons, and posing for pictures. Several photo props are located within lobby entrance, as well as more costumed characters lurking about. Waiting room has a large overhead flat screen, with different horror movies playing each night. Friday the 13th was playing the night we went, hence the date we visited. From the line, you can see fog rising from the house, and hear the screams of those that await you.

Event staff spaced patrons several minutes apart, however the group behind us did catch up, as they were moving quite a bit quicker. Groups moved forward at their own pace, allowing time to take in what each room had to offer.

Summary:
In its new location at The Hickory Point Mall, The Scream delivers the classic style haunted house of cardboard walls and blacked out curtains, twisting and turning through 10,000 square feet of madness and mayhem, making your childhood fears come back to life.
With apperances such as Freddy Kruger, Michael Myers, Pinhead, and Jason Voorhees, as well as Jigsaw, Annebelle, and Twisty The Clown, The Scream Haunted Adventure transports its victims back in time, to relive their childhood nightmares. Featuring a vortex room, claustrophobic tunnel (optional), and a blacked out maze of total darkness thru 25 scenes of gore and horror.
My personal favorite was the SAW room. The tools and torture devices hanging from the walls and ceiling looked soo realistic, and the poor girl crying for help was absolutly perfect. Jigsaw himself was very well done, and I loved the trike. I also enjoyed the creepiness of the babydoll room and disarray of body parts strewn around. I think the amount of child actors used may have taken away from the scare factor a bit, but overall the house was frightful and fun.
