Summary:
This haunt was fun. We didn't have tickets so we had to walk 2 blocks to the park where the tickets were sold. At the park, there were concessions, bathrooms, merchandise, and hot food, as well as baked goods. There were spooky hayrack rides to and from the haunt. We chose to take the ride back to the haunt and we rode slowly and silently through the local graveyard. It was creepy, fun, and one of those perfect fall activities you rarely get at haunts anymore. Once we entered the haunt itself, the sets were really well done. The scares are placed really well for maximum effect and the actors are very good at what they do. This is a fun, albeit quick haunt. It would be a good place to see if your kids are ready to hit one of the bigger haunts. If they can hold on for the 5 minutes here at Downs, they can handle the longer, more intense haunts. It is a great place to start. I would definitely return next year.
