Visibility/Location: This haunt was extremely easy to find. My GPS took me right to the building and there was a giant sign on the building as well. There was a ton of parking and we had no trouble finding a spot.
Wait Entertainment: The wait entertainment was unique at Skellington Manor! There was some creepy music playing and a video on a screen above us. At certain points during our wait there would be suspenseful music played and all of a sudden a loud noise would come over the speakers and a burst of air shot out from underneath us. This scared me both of the times it happened. In addition to this, there was a scare actor walking through the crowd interacting with everyone.
Admission Price: $15

Scare Factor: High
Crowd Control: Crowd control was okay here. We did run into a group in front of us once but the actors did a good job of separating us and we didn't run into them again.

Terror at Skellington Manor began with a walk up the stairs where we were greeted by a large sign that said "Theatre of the Macabre." We were then directed towards a an elevator that shook around and made us think it was going to fall. Then the doors opened and we were lead out into an area that resembled a haunted mansion. There was a woman with a voice changer that was hooked up to a speaker so her voice could be heard all over the room before she was even visible! This gave me chills because she resembled a ghost. I thought this was something unique that I had never seen before at a haunt.

Another area we went through that really impressed me was a room that had a barber slitting people's throats with a straight razor. It looked like a scene out of Sweeney Todd and the next room was complete with a butcher and a woman selling meat pies made out of humans. There was a ton of detail in this room and I felt like those pies really could have been made out of humans.

After that, we entered a cemetery section that had both actors and props scaring us. This section of the haunt was full of detail as well, with tombstones and even a mist river we walked through. There was one part in this section I vividly remember. We walked down a path and I could see a ghost in the distance. Then there was a burst of fog and the ghost slowly faded away as we walked through. That was something that really made me feel creeped out and I thought it was a great execution.

I don't want to ruin the last scene for anyone, but compared to the rest of the haunt I thought the ending was a bit disappointing. There had been so many amazing effects throughout the entire production and it seemed odd that it ended in a way that just didn't seem to fit with the rest of the theme. I still ran as fast as I could through the haunt and the overall attraction was amazing and I was pleasantly surprised with the level of detail and passion the workers put into the place!
